Some background: First: The Bastard will give a little kick with the first sip and a pleasant but not too long finish, the scent is soft and inviting, similar to a Cognac. Secondly: the The Danny Vera has a soft  sweet scent, gives a first initial sip with a long aftertaste, it tends towards a Whisky. the Third: The RAW crafted for the perfect cocktail or in the mix, such as the classsic Rum & Coke or as we like to call it: “RAWCo”. The last truly unique product we will introduce is The Collectors edition, single cask rum from the original barrel and at least 30 years of age.

About Dutch Head

The idea for Dutch Head Premium Rum arose during a holiday with the three friends in Italy. As a result the first steps were taken in the Netherlands and the plans were further matured during a trip to Spain. The dream has become reality.

International recognition

Dutch Head Premium Rum – The Basterd was honored with two stars at the 2021 ITI: International Taste Institute, a testament to its exceptional quality recognized by the world’s top chefs and sommeliers. Additionally, this rum was awarded a silver medal at the 2021 IWSC: International Wine & Spirits Competition.

In 2024, our three blends— the Bastard, the Danny Vera and the RAW —were each awarded a silver medal by the LSC: London Spirits Competition, further cementing our commitment to excellence.
